Christmas eve Service

I saw this on our way to Calvary Chapel PV.

You might see the kids on the back singing.

I thank God for the oportunity to serve Him down here in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. I arrive to Tepic Nayarit on 12/23/08 at 9:00p. On Christmas eve day I talked to my parents about going to the Christmas eve service in Puerto Vallarta. They all agree to go with me to meet pastor Bill Martin and the congregation. On our way to Puerto Vallarta I played a Christmas CD that Rachel gave to me and I talked to my parents about how important God is in my life. I was really nervous because I didn't knew the pastor or anyone in Puerto Vallarta. Once in the Chapel my and my family sat down in a table watching the little kids singing and dancing. After the kid's presentation Pastor Bill gave a Christmas message. Then after everyone praying for the food I decided to go talk to pastor Bill. We sat down for a little bit and then we talk about the ministry I might be helping with. He also told me that he has a place for me to stay and that I was going to start at the end of January. Then he wanted to meet my family so we went to sit with them and eat. There was a lot of food like Pozole, Romeritos, Ponche, and lots of dessert (Mexican Stuff). Then I get to met pastor bill's family (really nice people). It was a really awsome night for everyone. After everyone left we all got in one circle and pray for the success we had on that night. Me and my family left and went to the Hotel. In the Hotel me and my mom talked about the cool things God wants to do in our lifes and in the lifes of people arround us. After everyone fall asleep me and my dad talked about God. He seems to listen but after a while he forgets everything and begins to do the same thing again. I guess I have to be patient. I know God will do great things. Please continue to pray for the ministry in PV and for my family.

In Christ,

Mission trip to Mexico

On my way to the Bus Station in TJ I met Guadalupe. She asked me if I can help her with her bags and then she asked me where was I going. I Told her I was going to Tepic Nayarit. She told me she was going in the same direction so I decided to stick with her a little longer. She told me it was hard to find a bus in the station because everything was full already but that she knew a guy who might be able to help us. She called the guy (aka Pinocho). And he save us two seats for us. When I heard this I started praising God. They told us we were luky because people was waiting for days to get a seat and we got it in 30 minutes. I knew right away it was all because
of God. In the Station (the little office with the window). I get to minister to two young guys. They were curious about my purpose here in TJ.
after talking to them the bus arrive and me and Guadalupe (Lupe) got on the bus. On the bus I started ministering to her. She was in TJ because her husband lives there and she came to pick up the gifts for her 3 children that live in Mazatlan Sinaloa. She lives in Mazatlan with her 3 children alone. She was a big encouragment to me and I was also to her. I ride with her for about 24-26 hours ( It was a cool experience). All I did in the bus was talk to her and read my bible and letters
from all of you guys ( Thank you for your letters).

Once I got to Tepic I saw my family waiting for me and I was happy to know that my ministry was beggining. I'll try to minister to my family and they do listen but they dont want to do anything about it. I guess I have to be patiente.
Here are some Pics from the trip and from Puerto Vallarta. ( we have Starbucks :) hehehe).
Please continue to pray for me and for my Family. Thank you to all my Prayer supporters.
God Bless you guys.

Winter Youth Camp 08

Calvary Chapel Youth group decided to join one more time Calvary Chapel Living Water in the winter camp. "HIS OWN" was the theme for this year winter camp. Titus 2:11-15 talks about how Jesus paid the prize for our sins and because of that we are "HIS OWN" special people.

We had lots of fun and good food in this winter camp. This is a great opportunity for teenagers to get their life's right with Lord and to start a new life. The teachers were great and the activities were good also. I also get to know some more people who were an encouragement to me in my walk with the Lord.

Thank you Lord,

Men's Retreat 08

I had an awsome time with the Lord in the Men's Retreat. We went up the mountain to have fellowship with other believers, have Bible studies, to have good food, encourage one and other in the Lord, to have fun etc....

Going up the mountain I started thinking what kind of things the Lord had prepared for me. Soon I realize that I need it to thrust more in the Lord and that I need it to put my faith and my life in his hands. I also get to know more people. It was a great time. I thank the Lord for everything he has done for me.

Here are some pictures from the Men's Retreat.

New Creation in Jesus Christ

On November 19th 2007 I gave my life to JESUS. On Sunday November 18th 2007 my ex girlfriend told me that she wasn't happy and that she need it a break and be friends for a while. For me this was a really bad day and my life was going from good to disaster because she was all that I had. No job, no purpose I toughed my life was meaningless because my idea of a happy life was to be marry. I was sad and heart broken. On Monday November 19th 2007 I had a math class at 8:00am-10:45am. I wasn't paying attention to the teacher and all I could think of was about my life and that I needed to change and make things better and move on. After class Idecided to go to writting center to make up some lab hours for my english class. I found that one of my classmates from math was there in the writting lab. I started to look at him and to think why is he so happy about? so I got near him and try to make a conversation with him because I really wanted to hear from someone who is happy. We started talking and he ask me if there was something wrong and I said that everything in my is wrong then he continued to try to find out more about what was going on in my life. I needed it to talk to someone so I told him everything that was going on in my life. He then asked me if i wanted to go outside the writting lab to talk more freely. After 1 hour of talking to him he asked me If he can pray for me and I said "yeah, why not". He prayed for me and I didn't felt any different. Then I realize that all I need is to find God in my life so i decided to go across the street to Calvary Chapel Norco to try to talk to someone about God and how can I find Him. I talked to Jeremy and Brian in the church office for about 4-5 hours. I was asking questions and trying to find out about God. I wanted God to heal me and to give me a new beggining and a new goal. Jeremy and Brian didn't make me a Christian. It was God himself who after all these years I reject him and followed my own ways and that day I choosed to follow Him instead of my ways. The answers I wanted to find Jeremy and Brian didn't answer, but after that day God showed me step by step the answers I was looking for. I felt different, secured, peaceful and over all things I knew I found what most of the people desire and long for in their lifes which is a true meaning for life. I knew I found happyness and loved in Him whom died for my sins. Its being one year since I became a Christian and nothing has changed at all. I still struggle with things and my life isn't where I wanted to be two years ago but the only thing that has'nt change and will never change is that JESUS CHRIST saved me and loves me for who I am. He is always with me. Wherever I go I know He is there with me. My relationship with Him is getting stronger every single day. There is nothing I desire more in this earth that to be with Him. But I know He has called me to serve Him before I go to be with Him. He has shown me the power of His majesty. I seen Him work in my life and in the life of others that I care. I know there is no time to stay back and do nothing. The end is coming soon and people need to hear the gospel and be saved through JESUS CHRIST. So I ask whoever is reading this to pray for me and to pray for all the missionaries who are serving JESUS arround the world.

Movie night

Last thursday november 13th I had a movie night at my house. most of the club members came. I decided to make some Mexican dinner for them and Rachel Baked a Chocolate Cake. We decided to watch "The Last Sin Eater" (great christian movie). We all had a good time together and the food that I cooked wasn't bad at all. But the best part was the cake (ummm cakeee). We get to know each other better to fellowship with other fellow christians. Thank you God for giving me awsome friends and I know I will miss them once I leave to Mexico but we all know we see each other again.

Harvest Festival

On October 31st Mustangs 4 Christ succesfully had an awsome Harvest Festival. RCC Norco and ASNC (Associate Students Norco Campus) decided to make a Harvest Festival in campus and give candy to the Kids. Mustangs 4 Christ decided to join them and used it to witness to little kids and parents. Every club had a booth to decorated and make games for the children so they can have fun. Mustangs 4 Christ decided to go wildwest and show who rules in town (Jesus Christ). All the other clubs were planning and preparing everything for that day weeks before the event and Mustangs 4 Christ was still thinking on how to decorated the booth and which games to do. One week before the event we finally got an idea on what to do but i wasn't very clear. I asked the club if they were interested in helping out decorating the booth. Things didn't look so good for Mustangs 4 Christ for the Harvest Festival. Me, Lauren, Rachel, Sarah, Walter and Nick made the Harvest Festival a complete success. Everyone did a little bit of everything and the result was amazing. Lauren, Rachel, Sarah and Nick were in charged of decorations and me and walter of the special effects and sound. The day Before the Harvest Festival ge got some boxes, paper and markers and we came up with best booth for the Harvest Festival. Walter came at last with some lights and smog machine for the special effects and i brought my amp and my guitar to play some worship songs while the kids had fun. Rachel and Sarah brought the ideas for the games and they let us used their horse chair, ropes and horse stuff. Nick and Lauren help putting everything together and clean afterwards. All the other clubs did some wierd stuff but it was good after all because Mustangs 4 Christ showed Jesus to all of them.
Thank you God for everything you have done for us.

Mustangs 4 Christ Bonfire

Mustangs 4 Christ finally had the bonfire on October 25th. It was a complete success. One of the activities of the club was to have an activity to know people better so we decided to have a bonfire. Hot dogs, 1 bag of cheaps, drinks, fruit salad (made by Lauren), and cookies (made by Rachel) was the food we all got together for the bonfire. Some of the club members decided to take a 2 hour walk in the beach and others like me decided to just relax and sit on a beach chair eating the one bag of cheaps. After everyone got together and the weather was getting a lit bit cold we decided to get the fire going to warm us up. Then I ate 8 hot dogs (I was really hungry). And after everyone was full and happy (especially me) we start going arround making jokes. Then we decided to play some worship songs and praise the Lord for the oportunity He gave us.

The cool thing about all this is that people from arround came to our fire pit and sat down to worship God with us. We got to share the Love of Jesus with all the people arround us. I would like to thank God for the oportunity to met new friends and to be able to share His love with others. Also I would like to thank all the club members ( Nick, Walter, Lauren, Rachel, Sarah, Valentin, Aaron, Cait) for making the bonfire posible. Thank you and God bless you all.

RCC Mustangs 4 Christ Christian Club Part 2

During the first week of fall semester I went to contact Damon (Advisor of Christian Club) to plan the first meeting of the club. We talk about the things I had planned for the club. On the second week of school I was ready to recruit students interested in being part of the club. On the Third week of school we had or first meeting and bible study. We had at least 30 people in the first meeting, 20 in the second, 1o on the third meeting and now we only have 6 members attending to the meetings. At first my expectations were high. I wanted to have a large group to do all kinds of activities but instead God brought 6 people to the club.

I am really happy and thankful for the oportunity God has given to me and for the 6 members of the club. I had learned a lot of things during this semester of school. I learned to thrust God with everything even the little things. He has shown me great and mighty things.

RCC Mustangs 4 Christ Christian Club Part 1

We finally did it!!! YEAH!!!

Mustangs 4 Christ finally went out to do the bonfire in hungtington beach. Mustangs 4 Christ is a Riverside Community College Club where I got the privilage to be the president. We get together wednesdays and thursdays to worship God and have bible studies. It is really surprising how God can arrange things in a certain way where at the end everything is perfect.

During the spring semester at RCC of 2008 I was wondering if there was a Christian Club at RCC Norco Campus. I started asking people to see if everyone knew something about it. I looked on the internet to try find something that would lead me closer to find the club. No one couldn't help to find it so I decided it to ask the admistration of the school to see if the knew something that would help me. They told me to go to Student Services next building and ask them about it. I finally talked to person in charged of student services and she told me that they do have a Christian Club and that they meet on tuesdays at 12:00 noon. I left my contact info. with them and I decided to show up to the meeting next tuesday. On tuesday I found myself in the Tigers Den having lunch before going to the meeting. I found one of my friends from other class and she ask me what I was doing and I respond to her "I am going to the Christian Club to check it out". Then She told me that she was Indu and that she believe in many gods. Then I started sharing my faith with her and Jordan came to us and said "I LOVE JESUS"(Jordan is a member of the christian club). So after talking to her I went to room 102 for the meeting. I looked inside and there was a lot of people inside the room so I asked them " is this the Christian Club" they answer "no but check on Student Services and see if they can help you". I went inside of student services and asked them "I am trying to find the Christian Club" and they said " this is the christian club" and they point to one table with 3 guys and one girl (one of them was Jordan). I introduced myself and asked questions about the Christian Club. They told me that they were going to transfer to different schools and that there was no one to take over the christian club but Jordan. Jordan is a great guy but his disabilty was not going to help him a lot. After praying about it I decided to step up and do something for the club so I told them I was going to take over the next semester and keep the Christian Club going. after a few weeks the semester was over and started going to Mission Training School at Calvary Chapel Norco for 6 weeks.

After the six weeks of rigorous training in the word I was ready to serve the Lord.

Me and my brother Luis.

Puerto Vallarta

Hey Guys,
I am leaving in 1 month to serve God in Puerto Vallarta. I am going to be helping Pastor Bill Martin in Calvary Chapel Puerto Vallarta. Puerto Vallarta is a city of the state of Jalisco in Mexico. It is a very popular city of Mexico. Many people from Mexico and from the States like to visit and have vacations there. These are a few pictures from Puerto Vallarta.
