Christmas eve Service

I saw this on our way to Calvary Chapel PV.

You might see the kids on the back singing.

I thank God for the oportunity to serve Him down here in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. I arrive to Tepic Nayarit on 12/23/08 at 9:00p. On Christmas eve day I talked to my parents about going to the Christmas eve service in Puerto Vallarta. They all agree to go with me to meet pastor Bill Martin and the congregation. On our way to Puerto Vallarta I played a Christmas CD that Rachel gave to me and I talked to my parents about how important God is in my life. I was really nervous because I didn't knew the pastor or anyone in Puerto Vallarta. Once in the Chapel my and my family sat down in a table watching the little kids singing and dancing. After the kid's presentation Pastor Bill gave a Christmas message. Then after everyone praying for the food I decided to go talk to pastor Bill. We sat down for a little bit and then we talk about the ministry I might be helping with. He also told me that he has a place for me to stay and that I was going to start at the end of January. Then he wanted to meet my family so we went to sit with them and eat. There was a lot of food like Pozole, Romeritos, Ponche, and lots of dessert (Mexican Stuff). Then I get to met pastor bill's family (really nice people). It was a really awsome night for everyone. After everyone left we all got in one circle and pray for the success we had on that night. Me and my family left and went to the Hotel. In the Hotel me and my mom talked about the cool things God wants to do in our lifes and in the lifes of people arround us. After everyone fall asleep me and my dad talked about God. He seems to listen but after a while he forgets everything and begins to do the same thing again. I guess I have to be patient. I know God will do great things. Please continue to pray for the ministry in PV and for my family.

In Christ,

cesar

This is awesome that you got to bring your fam to the Christmas Eve service! What an opportunity for them to see where you are in life and where you stand with the Lord, and also for you to share the Gospel with them. (It's really cool, Cesar) Don't be dicouraged! It will take time for them and we will all continue to pray. But we praise God for the opportunities he has given you to share Jesus with your family! :) I'm glad you got to meet Pastor Bill and his family (and even over food. How PeRfEcT is THAT! hahaha! =P) And they have a place for you to stay?! What an answer to prayer! See? God is most definitely working and He is placing you where you need to be. I'm happy for you :) Thank you for the pictures! It's nice to be able to see where you are and what your life is like :) Looking forward to your next blog!

God Bless, Rachel <><

Caesar Cesar!
God is making the path for you. CCN and RCC's loss is CCPV's gain. I look forward to hearing more of what God is going to do through you in Mehico. Hope your New Year's was great. (i wish you were going to be at the conference next week)
Blessings,

Cesar Salad! Man it is so cool to see how the Lord has gone before you preparing so much. From the bus ride, to time with your family, to having a place to stay, I am blown away with how everything is working out so far and super excited to see (and read I guess) how the Lord is going to use you. Be prepared for great things and know that you have a big army here praying for you daily!
By the way....I went to pinkberry with the deans yesterday and without even thinking I was looking at all the cars in the parking lot for yours to see if you were working at the place next door. Haha. I had an "awww I miss Cesar" moment. Talk to you later (hopefully on skype!)
